Worried mom

My baby will be 6 months old on Sunday and I’m really worried that he doesn’t seem to be recognizing my voice..loud noises or even someone belching or sneezing will frighten him but whenever someone calls his name( I know it’s still a bit early for him to recognize his name) he will not turn his head towards the direction of the sound and I’m scared that something is wrong
