Arm pain/numbness from holding clingy baby??

Lulu

So I’ve noticed I have arm numbness and just general discomfort with my left arm from constantly holding my clingy 8 month old. I will hold her for upwards to 20 minutes using the same arm before my arm is in pain which leads me to put her down. She then cries so much I pick her up again using the same arm 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

I go to sleep and wake up to a partially numb arm that’s in pain. It kinda feels like carpal tunnel. I’m working on shifting sides to my right side but sometimes I just forget to switch sides, ugh! My left hip also clicks SUPER loud now because of how much I’m holding her with my left side. I’m probably holding her 40% of her awake time. It’s crazy how much more toned and smaller my left arm is compared to my right (I always tend to hold my babies with my left arm and put them on my left hip 😵)

Has anyone else’s body been affected by holding their baby. Please share!
