Placenta implanted on septum

Liz
I am currently 16 weeks into my pregnancy with my first child, and have been diagnosed with a bicornuate uterus. Everything has been going great up until now and still is, but today at my ultrasound I was told that about one third of my placenta has implanted itself onto the septum in my uterus and the remaining part of the placenta is implanted normally onto the uterus. The doctor has told me that even with that little part not receiving proper blood flow that the baby still has a good chance of survival, and the baby is a great size and so far has grown well. I just can't help but be really nervous and wondered if anyone else has experienced anything like this??
