Would it be wrong to trade in the car my mum bought for me 3 yrs ago?

At the time it was the newest car and it got me from point A to B.   Nothing is wrong with it, It just doesn’t feel like a “me” car. 
I remember she used to say I should keep the car forever and idk how to tell her I don’t want it anymore 😬

no, go for it. i got my suv as a grad gift but don't really enjoy driving it so i'm getting rid of it next year. if you're worried, just bring it up to your mom and discuss it with her. ultimately it's your car and if you've outgrown it, then you've outgrown it. as long as you aren't pinning yourself into a difficult financial situation, go for it.
