Anxiety guest over
I am biting my nails I haven't done that since high school.
How do you guys be a good house host? To distant family member you haven't seen in a long time and she's serious how do you create a happy visit what to do together etc. Help any awesome recipes are welcome
Second thing I have a toddler she recommended sending child to school to learn. I feel the pressure on my shoulders she insist its the right thing to do she's elderly so I don't talk back.
But I don't want to send to school and I hate disappointing people it makes me insecure doubt myself. I feel stressed out!
The reason is I try to make everyone happy I compromise put everyone first, I hate seeing people upset, I hate fights arguments. When I was younger my parents used to scream at each other and literally fight so I can't stand it. I walk away from it do my best to appease people but it gets to a point I feel like telling the world what about me what about my wants and needs.
How do you guys get what you want even if it isn't what everyone else wants.
From small decisions to big decisions I mostly try to make everyone happy so for example renting a movie I ask what movie they want and even if I hate it I get it, dinner what does everyone want I cook it even though that's not what I wanted, career choice college to many people criticism about what career to choose.
I am tired of being a pushover how do I change?
And in regards to husband how do you guys put your foot down what you won't tolerate without being afraid that person will argue with you or leave you.
