Nipple confusion or not hungry?
My 9 week old is ebf with a bottle of pumped milk before bed. She woke up after sleeping 6.5 hours so obviously I assumed she’s hungry. That was her longest sleeping stretch to date.
I put her to my breast and she screamed. The pacifier settled her for a bit and then she would scream. We changed her diaper, which didn’t calm her at all. Finally she seemed to tire herself back out and is napping on the bed next to me.
I have 1.5oz in a bottle for when she gets up to do a bait and switch. We haven’t been dealing with nipple confusion. She’s sometimes frustrated that the milk doesn’t come out of my breast right away, but I’ve been hand expressing and that had worked. This is new.

I’m just shocked that she could not be hungry right now... it’s 6am and she had her 4oz bottle at 10pm.
UPDATE: She slept next to me for 45 minutes. When she woke I gave her the breast and she cried. I gave her a bottle and she drank it immediately. Did a bait and switch and now she’s eating from me. This kid...
