Miscarriage

So this morning my bf woke up to get ready for work and got a call from his manager. I heard him say a couple “oks” and “gotcha” and the conversation was over. I asked who it was and he told me it was his manager and she wouldn’t be in work today. I said, “oh ok.” Didn’t think more of it. He then says “She thinks she’s having a miscarriage” and I’m definitely concerned for her health and safety and pray that isn’t the case, however, is that something you’d tell your male co-worker? I just find it odd she would give that type of information to someone other than her significant other or close loved ones. Am I trippin or nah 🤔
