Advice-career

Say you've had a professional job you kept for over 12 yrs and suddenly you were laid off because the entire team work was sent overseas. Now we have covid too. I have been applying for jobs but can't seem to find anything in my field (a specialized form of investment banking). What would you do? We are financially stable as my husband has a good job but I'm not used to being home. We don't have kids either. I wish we did but I guess that's not meant to be and we still trying. I worry and think about my future. Not trying to be negative but realistic God forbid if something ever happened to either of us and I have to work. I feel I need a back up plan I'm just not sure what
