Vaginal progesterone pills

I got my bfp last week (yay!) and my ob put me on 200mg progesterone pills that I have to insert vaginally twice a day. It’s causing me to have kinda chunky white discharge which I’m sure is totally normal, but I also feel a little irritated down there and I definitely didn’t feel like that until just a few days ago. I’m a little worried because I’m so prone to stupid little infections. Has anyone been in a similar situation where everything was fine?
