Too big? Or am I doing something wrong?

I got one that was labeled for "after you have a child" or whatever lol
I've tried using it off and on and watched some youtube videos.
Its almost always painful. I fold it up and insert it, and I can almost never get it to actually "suction." Like part of it stays kinda folded. I've tried using my finger to fix it or pulling it out a bit and its still a pain in the ass lol
I had it too deep the first couple times. I started pulling it out more. still causes some pain when it's in for more than 30 mins.

Forget the labels. I’m 38 no kids but I should be using the have had kids cup. I don’t follow the rule. I get both. The big and small. And alternate. Start with the small while my period is light and switch to the bigger one when I’m heavy. Also, some days I just can’t use it cause I have lumbar spine issues and sometimes things line up wrong. Period undies are great for the off days. I like the femmycycle cups cause they stay collapsed except the rim so less too firm too weak of cup issues. I have the regular and low cervix versions. Iveused lunette (middle firm), diva (more firm), and pixie (more soft). I like the femmycycle more than the others.

I think it might be too firm.
The size A and B difference is usually the rim size only.
Go around it with fingers, to pop it out, and also try different type of fold. Some cups work better with certain folds.
Does it hurt when pulling out? Then I actually think you had a suction already. Because if there is no suction, it jsut comes out with a slight pull. Like imagine if you suck your mouth to a random cup, pulling that cup away hurts, but if you put air in cup, it comes away easily.
A cup has a learning curve, it is actually ok not to get the hang of it first few cycles. Just keep trying. I have used mine for five years now, and I will not go back... But the beginning was quite messy.

Could be too big, I have that size and I can get it in comfortably but it has to be wet first. If it’s just not opening once inserted I’d size down. It could also be the cup, I’ve had three different cups and only 2 have worked for my body.
