Early labour.

I know everyone is different, but I was just wondering how long you were in early labour for? (the latent phase)

I was kept on ward Monday night due to being in early labour, my contractions were very regular (every 4 minutes) and although I was only 1cm dilated my cervix was soft and thing and they were adamant I’d have her within 24 hours. They even notified nicu / special baby unit.

Well, as you can probably tell, it’s now Wednesday and nothing has changed! Regular tightenings still, continuing to loose my plug, lots of pressure and pain. I’ve got a stretch and sweep booked for Friday as they were planning on inducing me within the next couple of weeks anyways.
