40 Weeks Today (Also TMI Picture In Post)

I’m 40 weeks today and I’m so impatient at this point. I had a failed induction on the 18th (high blood pressure is the reason for being induced at the time). I stayed at 1 cm dilation the entire time at the hospital even after pitocin and medications to thin my cervix. I went to my doctor this past Monday, and I progressed to 2 cm dilation. I have an appointment tomorrow to see where I’m at. But so far, I’ve had no contractions or any weird feelings. Just feel normal. I really hope this won’t turn out to be “failure to progress” labor. Like, if I got all the way to 41 or so weeks, I hope they can induce me and it actually work out then. I am trying to avoid a c-section as much as possible (this is my first baby).

Anyone else go into labor late and had a vaginal delivery?

Also, this came out of me today. I’m thinking it’s the mucus plug, but I’m not really sure. I guess I’m just being hopeful. 🥴
