Group B strep ADVICE???

Okay so i’m pretty anxious because I just saw on my results page that my group b came back positive, I haven’t seen my dr yet to discuss it but all the things I’ve read online *I know bad idea lol* have really freaked me out and i’m super nervous for baby boy; i’m scheduled for induction Monday so i’m hoping things can be figured out? I’m extremely nervous and uncomfortable.. don’t want anything to happen to baby.

All they do is give you an IV with antibiotics  during labor. It’s literally nothing to worry about

This is a repeat but yes as others have said they just give you an IV with antibiotics before you deliver. 
I tested positive with my first, negative with my second and praying it will be negative again as I really want to deliver at home this time.

You’ll just get antibiotics during labor. I tested positive too. When I got to the hospital for induction they hooked me up to an iv with antibiotics. My baby is now a very healthy 20 month old.

I was induced and was positive, they just hung a bad of iv antibiotics while in labor and baby was born healthy.

You just IV antibiotics during labor so you don’t pass it to baby, had it with my first pregnancy, it’s pretty common

Nothing to it. They just give you a iv bag of penicillin before you deliver

As others said you just get iv antibiotics during labor. It’s very common but doesn’t necessarily mean you will have it with another pregnancy. I had it with my oldest and then didn’t with my youngest
