My Girlfriend Is Mad At Me

My girlfriend is pissed at me and IDK what to do. It all started because I started getting texts from my ex girlfriend saying she wanted to kill herself. My girlfriend told me to ignore her. She just wants attention. I told her maybe I should at least call her mom and let her know. She told me not to. Well a few nights ago my ex sent me a picture of her with slit wrists. I decided to call her mom. Her mom thanked me and told me she would check on her. The next day her mom said she is fine and getting help. I said that's good. My girlfriend is now mad that I wouldn't let it be and said I still have feelings for her. I don't. I was just scared for her. Am I Wrong here? Should I have just left it alone.
