Is this sleep regression?
My baby’s first stretch of sleep was starting to get to 6 sometimes 7 hours making her first night feeding around 3 or 4am. It was getting really nice! She would sleep especially longer if she ate right before bed, but most of the time she wouldn’t even be hungry then. & when she’d wake up for a feeding, she’d just start wiggling around so I knew it was time to get her a bottle. So I could start feeding her before she started crying.
She’s 2 months now and her first stretch of sleep is getting less and less to around 3-4 hours, even if she ate right before falling asleep. Now I’ll be woken up between 12 and 1ish. And now she’ll wake up crying frantically for food.
I’ll also try to make sure she eats enough during the day (but that’s up to how much she’ll eat at the same time, I don’t force her) but that doesn’t seem to help. But it does seem like she has been eating less now.
Anyone else going through this right now? Maybe it has to do with the fact that we needed to stop swaddling her. or it could be a leap but I thought she just got done with one - according to the wonder weeks app. But maybe it’s actually now? Idk. It’s just getting really frustrating 😩😭😭
