help with home!

we bought our house a year ago & it still doesn't feel like "home" if that makes sense.... any tips or tricks to help make it feel cozy & like home? 🙂 I'm really bad at interior designing so walls are blank because I feel like it i were to decorate the walls they would be uneven lol ugh!!! wish I had girl friends to help- which is where you ladies come in!!
