Found a dress for 4$

Found this dress brand new at Gabes for $4 its exactly as this dress pictured but maybe a tad longer and it has pockets. Id really like to wear it to a wedding without feeling like I'm drawing too much attention. The straps inside to hang on the hanger literally say "wedding dress" so it made me feel its almost too fancy. I know there are ways to tone down an outfit, i was thinking maybe a watch and some type of flats might help or do you think its still too dressy?

I know it's like a homecoming dress but for only $4 brand new I couldn't not buy it i just don't know where I'd ever wear it! Suggestions for where I could wear this if I dont wear it to a wedding.

P.s. I've been really getting into fashion lately as I've found it makes me feel good and empowered since I was depressed last year being a stay at home mom with not many friends and no family near by. Being by yourself all the time really makes you lose motivation but recently I've found a love in learning how to use my closet and its helped my confidence
