How did you get through labor without an epidural??

For those of you who went all natural during labor, how did you do it? I really really don’t want the epidural but I’m so scared I’ll cave in. (Definitely nothing wrong with getting one, I just really want to do it naturally) I know I will be hard on myself if I cave, so how did you do it without one??

***in no way am I shaming any mommies who got the epidural. Child birth is a painful thing so I definitely don’t blame anyone for wanting to ease that pain!!!
