Parties

I personally don’t feel comfortable going to large gatherings still. I know anything can be risky these days. I work and am pretty good with social distance. Whereas a party is a bit different because not many want to social distance or wear a mask.

I was invited to a 21st birthday in 2 weeks, but with me and my personal living situation I rather not put myself in a higher risk especially since I don’t know 90% of the people going and where they’ve been.

If you are the person throwing the party, would you take it offensively that I didn’t show up? How can I nicely put it ? I don’t want to come off as flakey / not fun.

I definitely would love to go out more for fun with others outside my living space. Everyone has their own opinion of COVID and partying and that’s fine. I personally just have to sacrifice and adjust accordingly to protect my loved ones. ://
