I think I have posted about potentially potty training my daughter soon. I started reading and preparing, because that’s just the crazy, type-A mom I am now. I started because she caught on quickly to sign language for pee and poop. Well, I’m the past week she has gone from telling me that she has peed or pooped, to telling me BEFORE she pees or poops. According to my book, this shouldn’t even be a thing. Ha.

So, I felt like maybe we need to start sooner rather than later? But I also felt like I might be crazy. I thought I had more time.

This morning, I texted her pediatrician, who said he definitely thinks she is ready. He said sometimes kids that are relatively easy to train, train pretty young (even younger than her). So, now I’m just panicked.

Has anyone else gone through this? I wasn’t ready. We’re probably going to be stuck at home for a few weeks, and I have no idea what to do about the carpet. 🤦‍♀️ Send help.
