Help please belly piercing

Hi, i got my belly pierced july 31 and its doing fine, but im seeing that its pierced kinda high. Its not pierced thru the actual belly button if you know what im trying to say. I was wondering if it was done incorrectly and should i take it out? or go see a reputable piercer to check it out and tell me first. If i take it out i am going to repierce it after healed. Help please!
