Shower

Hi there! Question.

Is it dumb of me to want to have my shower around 26 weeks? Here’s My thought process.

I’m due in February. It’s Ohio. I have a January birthday so I cannot count how many times my birthday plans have been canceled because it’s either be -25 or we get record snow or ice storms.

26 weeks puts me in mid November, and I want to avoid the holidays because of high spending, family and friends having super tight schedules. This also would give me more time to get last minute items that weren’t purchased during my showers. I also won’t be large large and theoretically not as tired.

I’m aware there’s still the risk of miscarriage, but that could still happen 4 weeks from my due date too.
