Double Stroller? Yay or nay?

Has anyone chosen not to get a double stroller? What did you do for malls and zoos, stuff like that. 
I have a 2.5 year old who’s a runner. And due in October.

Have you looked into the board that attaches to the back ot stroller, where a todller can sit or stand on? I don't know its name, but it actually sounds more convinient, if toddles is already 2.5 and a runner. 😂

I have a 3-year-old and a 4-month-old and debated getting one before the second one was born but decided against it.
Then I did get one due to COVID-19 and wanting to take the kids out without having my toddler run off to touch things and socialize with everyone we pass.

I’m not getting one. My youngest is 2.5 and I’m due in February after her 3rd birthday. I font need the extra stroller space a double would take up.
