Could I mess my cycle up more?

Back in July I started taking birth control pills when I started my cycle and in the 3 week of taking them I started my period again, well we tried for Baby #2 and I thought I was ovulating because I had the the Symptoms, well I had these pregnancy test call pregmate and I keep getting negative, well I never start my period, we tried for 3 years for my daughter and I think I’m going to have trouble again, but this time I’m trying to to stress myself but I just want to know what’s up.

I’m just wondering if I mess my cycle or should try a different pregnancy test it probably don’t matter.
