TTC - 1 year in

Hello, I'm new to this group just sharing my story. I'm 39 (40) in October and my hubby is also 39. We've been TTC for a year with no luck this far. I have a healthy 18 year old from a previous relationship. I've also had 1 miscarry and 1 eptopic pregnancy ending in the result of me losing my left fallopian tube. I've had exams and all test possible that all come back normal. My periods are like clock work every month and last about 4 days. I'm scheduled to have the HSG test this Friday. I think this is my last option as I fear my right tube may be blocked. If this test comes back fine then maybe its my hubby he hasn't been tested yet. Im curious has anyone recently had the test done? I've read horrible reviews and Im honestly scared but I want to know. Any advice, help, comments, I'm open to all and appreciate them 😊 Thank you
