Is anyone else afraid to look down there?

I’m 4 weeks pp and so afraid to look at the damage done down there. When I’m on the toilet or in the shower, I try to look down but I haven’t seen my whole vagina properly yet and I’m so afraid to. Is 4 weeks pp too soon and should I wait out checking it out in a mirror? 🤣😩😩

Don’t look. I made the mistake of looking with a mirror three days postpartum. I haven’t looked at my vagina since, and it’s been almost four years 😂

I was so scared too. I never wanted to see that stuff during labor either.  I was so sore for a whole week.but after 2 weeks and esp 4 or 6. Its almost back to normal. Its a muscle so it does go back to almost normal

I looked at mine about 7 day’s pp. I about cried. But that’s how I found out I ripped my stitches and had to get back seen lol

I looked after like 2 weeks and it looked surprisingly normal. I had an internal tear that required stitching, but nothing visible on the outside.

I looked at mine for the first time at 5 weeks pp and it looked the same except my vaginal hole was bigger. I’m 15 week pp today and it’s back to normal

I looked at mine and it didn’t look that bad honestly. Then again I only had a first degree tear.

I couldn’t bring myself to look until months after birth. I had my husband check my stitches lmao.

I looked like a week or two after and it looked normal 🤷🏼‍♀️. I had a second degree tear but I didn’t see anything. The only rough part was the hemorrhoids.
