Cervix method?

So, my period is now 5 days late, I’ve had period like cramps for the last few days but still no period. My boobs have been extremely sore for a couple weeks now, and I’ve been getting little spells of nausea here and there but I checked my cervix this morning and it’s very very low and on the harder side. I’ve heard and read that if you’re pregnant, your cervix would be higher and softer, is this ALWAYS true or can it vary from person to person?
