Pineapple to bring on labour?

Im 39+4 and just want my baby here now, my first was 2 days early so I'm dreading goin over this time 😫😫 Im going to buy pineapple today, how much are you supposed to eat? (I know it's obviously not proven maybe even just coincidence that it brings on labour but I just wanna try!) any other theories I can put to the test?!

I've read that you need to eat 7 whole pineapples.. Not sure if it's worth it lol I'm trying everything at this point and as much as I love pineapple I don't think I can stomach that! I'm currently 40+5 and I've tried sex, birthing ball, walking. Ugh.. Appointment this morning so we will see what the next step is!

I ate so much pineapple I got sores in my mouth from the acid and my baby didn't get here any quicker.

Get them to do a sweep & stretch, worked for my #2.  She was born the next morning.

Try a massage. There are different points on the body that can bring on labor. You'll have to Look it up. Lol

You apparently need to eat a ridiculous amount in one sitting. 
I have been eating like one whole fresh one almost every day for the last two weeks..
And I haven't noticed anything different :( 
But I am craving them so I guess it isn't a total waste .
I have read that a few people eat a whole fresh ripe one and that sets things off for them. So maybe it will help you :)
