Blood test to determine sex?

How accurate is getting a Blood test to find out the sex of the baby? And do you just ask your doctor for it? I've never heard of it before.

It's actually a chromosome blood test named the "harmony" test, which tests for things such as Down's syndrome but they also do tell you the sex of the baby from the same test, I had one done this pregnancy xx

Gave me peace of mind knowing he was perfectly healthy too.

It's one of the newer tests. They are pretty accurate. I wouldn't do them because they're searching for some chromosomal abnormitys and if found - they will set pressure on you to terminate pregnancy....
