Already rolling

So my son just turned a month yesterday and the past week he’s already been rolling and doing some weird army crawl. Needless to say I’ve had to catch him falling off the couch twice because of this. So what can I get for him to lay in or do tummy time in? I don’t want him on the carpet directly since I have cats but also have limited blankets cause my toddler loves to constantly throw food on them anytime I put them down on the floor 😒 have any of you found any cheaper play mats that can be used for newborns?? My daughter never had one. But I need him to be able to have his space so I can play with my toddler
