money doesn’t by happiness

my husbands happiness is driven by money. and he doesn’t see a problem with that. he thinks that if he has more money he will he happier in life. how do i get it through to him that isn’t what happiness is about. it makes me feel as though my daughter and i aren’t enough for him. i really don’t understand. he makes more than enough to support us and live very comfortably.
