Fibroid during pregnancy... Does it cause miscarriage?

Hi,
If a Pearson finds that there is anterior fibroid in uterus of abt 3cm and baby as t this stage is just 1 cm..then will this pregancy be successful or Wil result in loss?any one has any idea abt it

I had a ten pound fibroid taken out last February, I have another small fibroid that my MD left in because I started to bleed too much when she tried to remove it. Due to fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and a neurological disorder, we never thought I would be able to get pregnant. After my surgery my MD told us that she saw no reason that we couldn't conceive and carry a pregnancy. I have had a few friends that have had healthy pregnancies with fibroids. Unfortunately I had an mc this week, I was 6 weeks, but do not think the fibroid had anything to do with it, in fact my MD told me it shouldn't have caused me to lose the baby.  I hope that helps.
