Text?

Okay this is probably a stupid question but i gotta know.

So i live in europe & my cousin lives in usa.

We aren't that close but we wanna get to know each other better and everything...she asked for my number but...doesn't it cost 💸 if I live in Europe & send a message/sms to Usa?

(& the other way around).

(& I know that there are apps that are free like messenger and whatever but my cousin doesn't have any data sooo...she'd only be able to text me when she has WiFi then ig?)
