What birth control have you found to be the best?

I'm wanting to get on birth control, I've never been on it before. So I'm quite hesitated to try it. I'm in a serious relationship with my boyfriend and I want to avoid pregnancy.

It really depends on you: your routine, habits, body chemistry. 
Example, if you’re not ready to get an IUD (the most effective and long lasting, but requires something to be inserted into your uterus) and you’re totally on top of your stuff, maybe try the pill. If hormones orally start to affect you, you may wanna try a ring. The best advice I can give is to talk to someone at Planned Parenthood or snag some of their pamphlets and actually read them. You’ll know which is the right choice for your lifestyle, and you can always switch things up if they don’t work out. Also, birth control is a two person responsibility, so no matter what method your on, your partner should be wearing a condom to ensure 0 pregnancy. Good luck!
