Prophetic dream?

I’m somewhat hesitant to ask this question as I never gave too much thought to prophesies.

Two nights ago I was sound asleep when I had this dream. I was sitting in a chair in an empty room and a single angel came down to me. He said I was pregnant but that I would get a negative test result at first. Then he went back up to the sky and I bolted awake. My IMMEDIATE, unprompted thought was that this was prophetic. I thought about it for maybe another 30 seconds before I fell back asleep and had a good rest of the night.

Like I said earlier, I’ve never given too much thought to prophesies and this caught me completely off guard. Growing up, the church I went to never preached heavily one way or another on things like the gift of prophesy or speaking in tongues and while its been something I’ve always been meaning to look into straight from the Bible, I just haven’t.

I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life before. My husband and I have had two miscarriages in the last two years. As much as my heart ached for a baby during that time, a few months ago I finally found that peace of mind I’d heard people talking about. I just felt “we will have a baby when God says its time” and relaxed.

I’m trying to determine if this is maybe what I think it is or ferret out if its something else. I wanted to hear other people’s perspectives and experiences when dealing with prophesy or similar situations.
