does having a baby mean you can never leave your house again?

Maybe this is a dumb question, and I know I need to be careful due to COVID. I’m not talking about going to a restaurant or taking my son to the grocery store.. but I feel like a hermit. 
I feel like I’m never allowed to leave the house, I want to go on a walk or sit outside or go to my family’s cabin. But I worry about the sun and bugs. 
I’m going stir crazy.. someone tell me I’m not alone in this feeling and I’m not psycho 🤦🏼‍♀️

100% go outside with baby! Get some fresh air! If baby is over 6 months you can just use sunscreen. If not just try to stay in mostly shaded areas, or spend time outside in the morning/evening when she sun is less harsh, and put a hat on baby.

I took walks outside with my daughter every day when she was a newborn. Not that you can do this now with Covid, but I took her to festivals, the mall, stores. Sure it’s difficult with feeding and all that, but I couldn’t just sit inside all day. No reason to either.

It's good for you AND baby to go outside, safely. Baby will benefit so much from being exposed to new sounds and sights. At the very least, sunshine. 
I see a lot of moms with baby carriers out at stores and they use a light blanket over top it to protect their baby from germs.

I have a 10 month old and am currently pregnant.  I felt this way too but with a little bit of planning you can go out.  We frequently go on walks which is good for all of us.  If it isn't crowded we stop at the park.  We go to the store but we go on off times like around lunch time in the middle of the week or early in the morning on weekends.  Every once in a while we eat out but we chose places with outdoor seating, check to make sure the tables are spaced out and employees wear masks, and go at off times again.  We have even been able to eat inside at a restaurant in down time.  If it's too crowded we pick it up or or try somewhere else.  I bring hand sanitizer and wipes and use them before I touch anything for the baby.  I probably look like an utter crazy person but it works.  I know that EVEN with taking precautions you could still contract COVID but you can certainly lessen the risks. If you are unsure about going to stores and things, definitely walk, sit outside, even pack the baby up and take a drive. It helps.

Get out, take a walk, its good to he able to breath. Baby boy is due December 13th and we will be going to pick out a Christmas tree shortly after that with him and my twin girls. I understand its hard with covid. The girls just went into a store for the first time since end of February 2 days ago. They loved the double seat cart! They dislike normal carts 🤣 my bigger of the two girls say "owie" when you try to put her in one 🙄 she's not hurt its just new and she's uncomfortable with new 🤦🏻‍♀️
