Which team are/were you and why?

I am always curious about other people’s experiences!

I am currently pregnant with my 3rd. With my 1st born, my water broke on its own 4 days before my due date.

With my 2nd, my doctor and I chose to schedule an induction 4 days before my due date. She says she doesn’t like to do inductions with your first baby because she wants the body to learn what to do naturally. But that after the first baby, she has no problem inducing because you are basically kick starting what your body already knows how to do.

This morning we scheduled the induction for my 3rd, 4 days before my due date again.

I’m always shocked at how many people question inductions and say “let baby come when it’s ready”. After having done it both ways now, I personally didn’t see much of a difference in the two other than with the induction I could better plan for my existing child to be cared for because we knew the plan. My labor was actually easier with being induced than when I went on my own.
