Who swears by acupuncture and why?

Did you have success with it? Or without it? I am in between with it... not sure what to think

Both cycles that I did it religiously failed. The two cycles without I had success 🤷‍♀️ I think it’s great for relaxation and is quite therapeutic but is it worth the money, time, and risk amidst covid? Meh I’m not so sure. Unless you have a blood clotting issue/thick blood... in that case I would highly recommend as it gets your blood flowing.

I have had a failed FET cycle with it and a failed FET cycle without it. I still love it because it helps me find peace and release any stress / anxiety that the process brings. I don’t think it changes the outcome, but puts me in a better headspace.

I love acupuncture. I have been going over a year now ever since I started going to my RE because she suggested it. It’s relaxing, although it took me a while to really get used to it. My clinic also recommends acupuncture 30 minutes before your transfer and immediately after because they believe it really helps. If your clinic has an acupuncturist on site then I highly recommend that for your day of transfer. I also went to my regular acupuncturist 2 days after my FET. I don’t know if it was the acupuncture or a combination of everything, but my embryo did implant so now I’m a believer and I’ll do it for any future FETs.

I’ve tried it with my 2 IUI’s and they didn’t work 🤷‍♀️ so I decided to skip it for my IVF (didn’t even like it though, it made me feel uncomfortable to stay for a long time in the same place😀) But what I had before my FET was fertility abdominal massage, I found a specialist in my area doing it.

My doctor said it’s great for reducing stress and increasing blood flow. But I am needle phobic and with covid, plus the cost, she said if it will stress me out it defeats the purpose. But if you enjoy it then yes it can help!
