Gush of blood once a day?

I’m 1 week 2 days pp and have a ton of blood that soaks a pad once a day and then the rest of the day nothing. It usually occurs after I pump or sit/lay in the same position for a length of time. Anyone else experiencing this?

Answer

Pumping makes your uterus contract, which can increase bleeding as it squeezes out more. Getting up from laying can as well because the blood had pooled and it is moving when you move.
