Dostinex?

Hi all! Has anyone taken dostinex after their egg retrieval? I think I was prescribed it to reduce the chances of OHSS but can’t seem to find much info about it online. I had my ER today and am hoping this medication reduces the abdominal pain. Thanks!

Yes I had moderate OHSS after my 1st retrieval and they prescribed me that for 1 week felt so much better after. Salty foods, electrolytes and lots of rest!

I took cabergoline (I believe it's the same) only for my second IVF cycle. Apparently my clinics doing a study of timing (before retrieval vs after) I took mine at the same time as my trigger shot. I feel like my first and second retrieval recoveries were very similar, moderate pain days 1-2 and completely gone by day 5, bloating of course - but I had about double the amount of follicles the second cycle (25 seen on my last scan). I just had a follow up scan and my ovaries are still very large, but no pain at all. So maybe it did help, can't be too sure but hopefully it does for you!
