Any Dog Moms?

Question

I am 8 weeks pregnant and I have a yorkie who i love and spoil so much. He is my fur baby. Well last night we were sleeping and he peed on my bed...right next to me to be exact. Now, i think it was an accident because he fell asleep before he had his last walk of the day. So i'm thinking his bladder was full and it was an innocent accident. But my boyfriend seems to think that he may be sensing the baby so he is acting out.
Anybody else having their dogs act out to your pregnancy?

My dog did not act out, but he def knew I was preg before anyone else did. They *know* 😳

Mine haven’t noticed much... I don’t think. They sure want to sniff the toilet after I pee though.

I’m a fur mama! To a big chocolate lab whose only 8 months old. I am so exhausted and caring for a puppy all day has been killing me 😩 He definitely doesn’t sense anything yet though, as clueless as ever LOL

I have an old English bulldog. I don’t think he senses anything but he’s loving all of the cuddles he gets from me being so sick all of the time

Awww I want a puppy. But every time I say I want a pet, my husband says “but you have a baby” 😂 which he’s right...the last thing I want to have to worry about is house training a dog with a newborn...and I know this isn’t what you asked. But...I just love animals, lol.

N o, the puppy probably hasn’t sensed it yet. Once it starts sniffing your belly and becoming protective that’s when you know they know, plus yorkies have really small bladders. Although they do say that when you bring your baby home let the pets sniff the baby’s wet diaper so they don’t act out and get jealous.

My cat has been extremely needy, like constantly needs to be sitting on my lap or picked up. I think he knew before I did, he started doing this around the time I would have first gotten pregnant.

Every time I’m pregnant my husbands Jack Russell gets really aggressive and means towards me. Peeing on my stuff, growling at me. Ugh I can’t wait for him to be gone. I was a pet lover until I have my baby, now it’s just annoying.
