Gbs carrier

Hey everyone , so I am 15 weeks pregnant and they said I am a carrier for gbs they send me antibiotics to take for 7 days , however I don't have any itching and I don't feel any different , she also sent me a cream just in case I do start itching . I've read online that the only antibiotics you need is when you are in labor . Any thoughts on this ? Or how can I cure myself ..
