Nervous after sex

Hi so I’m 17 and just lost my virginity to a guy I really trust and like and I’m not on birth control but we did use a condom and I just have the worst anxiety. I also got my period the day after which I suspected was gonna happen. I am going on birth control but I have to wait till October 30 for my appointment. I just need some reassurance that I’m good and can stop freaking out.
