I can’t use always pads. Anyone else?

So when I first got my period at 11 my mom would buy me pads in bulk but I was weird and having like 10 day periods. My mom didn’t let me wear tampons until I was 13 (don’t fully know why. She said that she didn’t trust me to change them correctly) And I though that the rash I would get from pads was normal. I mean my body was changing drastically and so many things were going on and then my friends got periods and were like “girl that ain’t normal” and I would tell my mom how these certain pads would give me a horrible rash and she just thought I was being stuck up and wanted more expensive pads for some reason, and I was like “mom I can’t even explain this to you, it hurts and I’m not being picky. please just look.” And when my mom saw the type of rash I had she was like OOOH MY GOD!! And you never told me?” And I was like I thought this was normal! I really did think that this was how it worked🤣 that you bleed profusely for days and a bad butt rash.

They’re like sandpaper, and I think I’m allergic to them. She bought me different pads from then on and then introduced me to tampons and taught me how to use them.

Currently the only pads I will use are always infinity pads, because they’re completely different from the original always pads and THE BEST pads out there.

My aunt coupons and bought me some always pads in bulk and I felt so ungrateful when I was like “I love that you thought of me but I cannot wear these. Ask my mom, they give me a BAD rash.” So she took them and gave them to her daughter lol.

But anyways In short, the OG always pads are like Satan’s sandpaper to me.
