Natural birth after c section?

Question

My first was an emergency c section after a long labor and getting to 10cm, the little guy decided to flip lol. I’m now pregnant with baby #2 and my dr said I can do natural or schedule a c section. I just wanted to know if anyone else has had the same situation and what did you choose/how did it go? I don’t really know which route to take other then I want a safe delivery! Thanks for the insights!

I had an emergency c section with my first son and a VBAC with my second son. I will also be doing a VBAC with baby #3. 
The recovery from the C section was brutal compared to the VBAC. I needed help with getting out of bed and picking up the baby out of the bassinet with the C Section. VBAC I was up and showering on my own in an hour. Walking around the room with my he baby taking pictures. 
It was definitely better for me. Just FYI, some dr are not VBAC friendly so keep that in mind. I chose my dr based her being pro VBAC. .. also she’s super sweet.

I had an emergency c section (i was able to dilate to 10cm but baby just was not descending) with my daughter in 2018 and 19 months later had a VBAC with my son in 2019. I discussed with my doctor and they have a way to calculate the % that a VBAC would be possible - they told me 60% chance I’d be able to have a successful VBAC. That number seemed really discouraging - I was torn on what to do but ultimately my MFM said if I didn’t try there was a 0% chance it would be successful - so I decided to try! I had such a beautiful experience with my VBAC. My recovery was a little tough due to tearing and hemorrhoids but it was easier to move around than recovery with c section. I decided to go for another VBAC with this baby, pending the ability as i progress.
Ultimately there are pros & cons to either way you go. Wishing you so much luck!

Had an issue similar to you with my first pregnancy! I don’t have any advice but I’m also looking into the pros/ cons of having a VBAC vs scheduling another c-section. Haven’t had a discussion with my OBGYN about it yet.

I had planned c section in2018 with my son he was breech then 3019 had a vbac ot was amazing I’m pregnant again and will deff try for a double v bac. Or what ever you call it ... do what ever you want 🖤

I had to have a c-section with my first because she was breech and I chose to have an elective c-section with my second . Currently pregnant with my third and I'm considering trying for a natural birth this time

Had a unplanned c section with first baby, second baby I went with a c section as well and the nurses were awful to me. They left my bloody bandage all night and never checked on me... and the blood got stuck to my skin and then asked me to pull it off myself cause they couldn’t help me. I was traumatized after that... this baby I’m sure I have no option and Dr will want to do C section.. I am in a new state and new hospital so I’m praying everything goes well here for baby and me. Last recovery was brutal 😣😩
