Help with breastfeeding newborn!??

My daughter was born 4 days ago. I had her at 36 weeks and 3 days. While in the hospital, I was able to get her to latch and feed for an average of 5-10 minutes each feeding but since we’ve been home she isn’t latching. Whenever I put her on the boob, she pulls away and starts to cry immediately. I have been pumping to give her breast milk, but I would rather her feed from breast directly. Please help!

It could be the flow of bottles that you’re using. I was told by my midwife (also a trained LC) that the most common cause of latching issues is that the flow of bottle nipple you’re using is too fast. Baby will prefer the bottle because they don’t need to work nearly as hard to get milk out, so by using preemie or ultra preemie flow it will usually encourage them to work a little harder at the breast.
