When did you announce?

I'm still debating a good time. I'm 12 weeks and we just told my grandfather ( who is basically my dad ) a few days ago the rest of my close family knows. I'm just wondering when I should tell the rest of the family since my aunts twins are due in December and Christmas is around the corner! I don't know what too do!

We are planning on telling family at thanksgiving which will be seven weeks in the hopes that Christmas gifts are a little more practical this year.  Last week my brother, who has a 9 month old told everyone they just found they were expecting again.  So I'm further along but we wanted an ultrasound first since our last pregnancy was a miscarriage.  I don't think my family will care that we waited to tell them, but I feel like we won't get the excited response but more like a "oh you guys too".

I will be 9 weeks by Christmas and will tell my parents and inlaws and siblings. But we aren't going to tell close friends until after 12 weeks and then employer and then social media much later...so maybe 20 weeks online.

It was after my very 1st ultrasound. Around 8 or 9 weeks. We told parents right away, then I put a Facebook announcement up.

I thought that was the most politically correct way because I know no matter what order I told people somebody would get pissed because they had to find out after somebody else.

We announced yesterday at 12 weeks with this we wrote "on June 2nd we go from wife and husband to mommy and daddy" 
My mom and mom in law knew sooner and I told my employer previously as well. So excited!

I told my parents after my first ultrasound, but then again I tell my mom everything. The rest of the family we are telling at week 10
