How to calculate the due date ?

Hi moms, do you know how to calculate the due date? I followed many apps for pregnancy tracking and all of them showed I’m 16 weeks of pregnancy ( calculated from my first day of my last period was May 19.2020 ), but today I went for ultrasound and the lady told me I’m 13 weeks 2 days only, sounds strange to me because I can see from ultrasound picture it also says 16w6d. Anybody knows to calculate exactly the due date?

You can ovulate much later than you think sometimes. Your due date based on your last LMP is just an estimate typically after the first ultrasound when they actually measure baby thats how far along you are. The ultrasound would still say whatever date they entered as your LMP. Which is why it says 16 but measured 13, I wouldn't worry just ask your Dr for clarification and he/she will give me a good EDD. Based on your last period. I was 10 weeks and 4 days, when I went for a ultrasound the baby was measuring 2 weeks ahead of time. They still told me to go by my period. I had few ultrasounds through my pregnancy and she finally “caught up”. She was just measuring bigger at the beginning.
