My now ex broke things off with me today out of the blue to “focus on himself”. I am barely pregnant and we have a daughter as well. I am getting an abortion and i don’t get paid for the next two weeks and IM OUT OF MONEG CAUSE HE SPENT IT ALL. Well, he is saying he will not pay for the abortion. 
I can sell this ring right? He said he will report me. But it was a gift to me right? Not my fault he’s leasing it.

There’s no such thing as “barely” pregnant. You either are or you aren’t.

If he is leasing it you can’t sell it because its not paid off. You can sell and pay it off I would assume but not for your abortion. And are you aborting just because he broke up with you? If so that’s not okay if he is willing to co parent and you wanted to keep the baby while you two were together

sorry, no. it is an engagement ring you have to give it back if the engagement has been broken. if he still owes money for it he can sue you for selling other persona property.

Also it’s given in exchange for marriage. “Promissory Estoppel” si it’s legally his if you said you would marry him in exchange for it and have decided not to.

You should give the ring back. If he’s leasing it that would mean he doesn’t own it and would still need to pay for it, I don’t think it’s fair for you to go off and sell it when he hasn’t paid it off yet. And if the only reason why you’re considering abortion is because y’all broke up then you need to give more thought into it before making a permanent decision. Make sure that it’s really what you want to do

I get that you feel like everything is falling apart right now, it really sucks, but You guys only broke up yesterday? I think you should stop and take a breath, if he meant anything to you you would not want to sell the ring so fast. Also, If engagements are broken off then the condition of the gift is not met, its a sympol of intent to marry, not a present. He actually has the right to get it back from you. 
A few months before my husband and i were due to get married he got cold feet, we actually sepporated for a couple months, even lived sepporately, i remained calm and patient. in that time he realised he truly wanted to be with me and our kids. So we got back together and have been married for 4 years

So...first thing is first. You cant "lease" an engagement ring. It has to be either paid in full for or financed in some way before you walk out with it. If its financed, it is owned techincally as he is on the hook for the money.
Secondly...the ring is considered an exchange for vows, unless it was given on a birthday, valentines day or christmas in which case it can be considered a gift. Of course its relatively easy to say that the day the proposal occured was an obscure holiday that had some type of significance to your relationship.  i.e. the ring was given as a token of marriage as well as to commemorate the anniversary of the first day we began dating. We exchange gifts in this day each year. I gave him a pocket watch and he gave me the ring.....being bang boom, its magically became yours. 
Thirdly, although the ring should be returned legally....you can circumvent responsibility if you are selling the ring and using the funds for an abortion. Although technically his property, the reason you are needing the funds is also his responsibility...at the very least half. There isn't a court in the land that would force you to repay him if this is what the money is being used for. So if you are being truthful, save all your receipts.
