TTC - Prolactin level 11.8 ng/ml - What does this mean?

I'm curious to know...

Has anyone had this checked that can give me some insight?

Is this considered a normal level?

Yes that's normal. I've had mine tested 3 times. First 2 times it was at the top of the normal scale (24ish). I had it redone a few months later and it dropped to around 13 if I remember correctly

That's normal. I believe normal is 2-30 ish.

When I had my hormones tested my prolactin levels were high (45ish if I remember, which isn't terribly high), and my doc did an mri and found that I have a microprolactinoma (tiny benign tumor on my pituitary gland that could throw of my fertility).. So at least that number is normal for a non pregnant female. I know the range goes alot higher if your pregnant or bfing
